Lucy Shea is the CEO of Futerra, a sustainability advisory firm. Lucy joined Futerra in 2003. She has grown the business from a start-up of 5 to a global business with offices in London, New York and Mexico City. Futerra is majority female owned and run, B-Corp and has Climate Solutions Provider status under the UN backed Race to Zero campaign.
Lucy works with global businesses, nonprofits, institutions and social media platforms to accelerate change. She was a founder member of the UN’s Sustainable Lifestyles Task Force. She authored the UN’s Communicating Sustainability, downloaded +1m times. She reimagined garment recycling over a decade ago with the Swishing campaign. She was a founder organizer of Fashion Revolution and served as its Chair of the Trustees. She is a Trustee of Future Earth Lab and sits on the advisory board of Let's Go Zero.
