Christian is the Group Sustainability Director at Selfridges Group and a member of the executive team. He is responsible for the sustainability strategy of the Group, which consists of Selfridges in the UK, Brown Thomas Arnotts in Ireland and de Bijenkorf in the Netherlands. A recovering academic, he has spent 20 years researching and working across all aspects of sustainability, recently developing a passion for circular retail. He serves on the boards of the Swire Chinese Language Foundation and Project Pressure, and sits on Playtech’s Stakeholder Advisory Panel.
